“Women’s Health Week” Held in Seven Cities of Russia

27 April

Another “Women’s Health Week” of the annual social project by Gedeon Richter was held in Russia with the communications support of the CROS team. CROS and Gedeon Richter are effectively managing the campaign for already several years in a row.

The project is aimed at raising awareness about women’s reproductive health and establishing a culture of responsible treatment of their health. This year its main topic was the connection between women’s health and beauty. The campaign was held in seven cities of Russia: Moscow, St Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Samara, Perm and Yaroslavl. Women received from the organizers special leaflets with useful information about the impact of hormones on the appearance and the traditional gerberas, symbol of the campaign. A contest of selfie photos was held in five cities with the main prize being a trip to Budapest.

As part of the project, the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center presented in Moscow results of its poll “Women’s Health Index”. In St Petersburg, Gedeon Richter signed a Letter of Intent with the State Hermitage. The company intends to provide its support for the scientific restoration of “women” exhibits in one of the world’s largest museums of art, culture and history. The first object to be restored will be a sculpture of Aphrodite, known as the “Gatchina Venus”.
