This March was really eventful in terms of projects implemented by the CROS team for companies from the healthcare industry. Here is the latest news.

  • We have organized a media event for AbbVie in Ufa, dedicated to the treatment of viral hepatitis С among children and teenagers. It was widely covered by the local media of Bashkortostan.

  • With CROS support, Boiron held a regular meeting of the ‘Experts on Headlines’ Press Club that was dedicated to the integrative medicine. Market analysts and doctors of various practices told journalists about the importance of combining different methods for treatment of widespread diseases.

  • As part of the ongoing work with Pfizer, we invited journalists to the opening of the “Superbugs: The Fight for Our Lives” exhibition that is sponsored by the company. The exhibition is dedicated to the role of antibiotics in the people’s lives and was organized in partnership with the UK Embassy and the Science Museum of London. It will be open through June 30 in the Timiryazev State Biological Museum, and admission is free.

  • CROS provided organization and information support for Gedeon Richter’s regular press breakfast for business and trade media that was attended by top managers of the company’s Russian office. They shared with journalists their work experience in the Eurasian Economic Union: in 2017, a single market for drugs and medical products was launched, uniting five countries of the union.

  • For the fifth consecutive March, the CROS team held a traditional event for Eisai. This time it was a press conference dedicated to the Purple Day, the international day for epilepsy that falls on March 26. Doctors shared their experience in treatment of people living with the disorder, and Darya Radova, a well-known blogger, told her personal story of fighting epilepsy. The highlight of the event was a floristry workshop for journalists from the federal and regional media: participants took away with them beautiful bunches of purple flowers.

  • The CROS team provided information support for the second “Time to Live!” national award, that recognizes people making an important contribution to the fight against strokes. Journalists from the federal and regional media took part in the award ceremony and learned about the achievements in person. Media partners of the event included Ogoniok, one of the oldest weekly illustrated magazines in Russia, Vademecum magazine and Nauka i Zhizn science magazine.

  • For the second consecutive year, CROS is participating in improving media coverage of the achievements of the Russian phthisiatricians in their fight against tuberculosis. Our agency organized a press trip for journalists from the Moscow and St Petersburg media to the conference “Current issues in tuberculosis diagnosis and management among children and teenagers”, as well as a media briefing with the chief specialists of the Russian Healthcare Ministry and specialists of the federal districts in phthisiology and phthisio-pediatry.
